ANYONE know someone that was on ANY REALITY SHOW?

I'm talking about Survivor, I Love New York, The Amazing Race, American Idol, Hogan Knows Best, Big Brother, The Bad Girl's Club, Flavor of Love, MTV's Next, etc... Did they like it and WHO WERE THEY? How do you get on these shows? Are there like websites that tell you how to get on these shows especially new ones that aren't released yet. I'd love to be on one. I would've been perfect for The Bad Girl's Club but I am 34 and that's probably too old! Also, did they get paid even if it was a contest and they didn't win? And do you preety much have to live in the LA area? THANKS. I'm just curious 'cause there are SOOO MANY Reality shows now. I'm even talking about the style and home makeover shows!

ANYONE know someone that was on ANY REALITY SHOW?

I knew one of the contestants on the show "The Bachelorette" (2nd Season)--I walked down the aisle w/ him @ my Brother's Wedding--his name was Michael. He didn't win or anything--it was cool seeing someone you ACTUALLY knew on TV for a change.

ANYONE know someone that was on ANY REALITY SHOW?

I didn't know anyone of these shows, there have been a few from surrounding area. I do know someone who's going to be on TLC. It's about people who have won the lottery and how they're handling the money.

To get on the shows, they usually advertise that if you visit the website, there's info on how to go about getting on...most have an application, and want a video tape (about 3 min.). Then if they like you're tape, they'll ask you to attend an interview in a nearby city (usually Chicago, NY, Miami, etc.) and if they like you there, they'll fly you out to LA for another interview...and if they like you there, you'll be called. At that point, they pay you're expenses to whatever location necessary-one of the requirements (at least it was for 'Survivor') was you had to be ready to travel on short notice, and be able to give up approximately 8 weeks of your life.
