Baby shark!???

I was watching this show called bad girls club or sumthing like that and i sae what looked like a baby shark or mini version of a shark in a tank basically my question is how can someone raise a shark and is it possible and what will happen when it gets old

Baby shark!???

It probably is possible when they're little. When thay get bigger I guess they have to let it go, or get a large aquarium.

Baby shark!???

I had a Bala Shark once... it's a small shark with a black stripe on it's back and it stays small, you just feed it normal fish food. You can get them in any store that sells pet fish usually. I also had a red-tailed shark once. They get to be a bit big, like 10 inches long. Same fish food diet.

Baby shark!???

DUDE DID U WATCH THAT EPISODE!!!! IT WAS SO TOTALLY AWESOME.... DID U SEE THAT ONE WHEN THOSE GIRLS WERE FIGHTIN???? MAN, NOW THAT WAS AWESOME!!!! PSSH!!!! MAN BUT SHARKS KILL!!!!

Baby shark!???

Sharks should only be raised by the most experienced marine aquarium hobiest. They're are several smaller breads but they all require tanks of 200 gallons and up.

Baby shark!???

It was a movie/show, but if it were to be real they probably would of let it over fill the tank or let it go or try to keep on finding bigger and bigger tanks.

Baby shark!???

maybe a bala shark???

You can keep some sharks, but they require 300+gallons

bala sharks are just fish that look like sharks and stay small

Baby shark!???

Saltwater sharks are just way too big for home aquariums and if someone wanted to do that, they would either have to have a lot of money and connections with public aquariums or something for the future when the shark needs a bigger home... or they would just keep the shark as a 'cool factor' conversation piece and let it become stunted and die when it was too big for the tank it was being kept in.

There are lots of tropical freshwater fish that look like sharks. Mostly they're catfish or members of the carp family (related to goldfish.) A good deal of them also get way too big for home aquariums though and either live shortened lives and die of stunting, or get tossed out.

If you really like their looks, do your research. It's possible to keep them successfully and responsibly if you do.

Baby shark!???

I'm assuming your talkin about salt water they are horn sharks as one that can be kept in tanks they dont get to big 24 inches maybe adult size

Baby shark!???

Some, acually very few people have raised baby sharks in a tank. If you wanted a shark that's easy to care for, Bala sharks are kind of like a shark. I have two, but they do better in groups of five or more. they require a large tank, 60 gallons or more because of their size (up to 18 in) and speed (These things are FAST!). they are excellent jumpers too, so you may want a cover if you don't have one. They also make clicking sounds, mainly at night.

Baby shark!???

Well I didn't see this show, but could it have been a sturgeon?

This is about the only fresh water fish I can think of that really looks like a shark. (The tail mostly.)
