Why English girls don't want to talk to me?

OK...I am in the UK for four years now. I have done my degree %26amp; I am doing MA in London. I am 180 cm, white, not bad looking, Carnaby Street style, 25 y.o. guy.

Most of times I go to the pub or club I see girls looking at me in a 'talk to me' way. Sometimes, they approach me and after saying 'hi' they give me this strange look and say something like 'ok, i need to get a drink, see you later'. It is ALWAYS like this.

What is wrong with me? I don't have any problems with meeting girls from other countries, therefore issues such as bad breath/smell can be excluded.

Can it all be about my accent and grammar errors I make while chatting? I don't think they have a problem with understanding me, as I work as an interpreter.

What the hell is wrong? I am so confused!

When you say hi to them are you looking nervous, just looking down and saying hi really quietly? or are you smiling, looking confident and saying it? I think that would make a difference.

And if thats not the problem, when you approach someone next time, instead of saying hi, ask a question thats interesting so it'll grab her interest(or just make her think). Then one thing leads to the next, and bam! you have yourself a nice conversation.

I'm guessing it's the language barrier. The accent is fine but if your grammer is bad it can be a turn off. Keep working on it and keep trying.
